Hold On Just a Little While Longer

I’m writing to invite you to join our prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m. ET this evening. I know you’re carrying complex emotions today. Anger that so many people still vote for bigotry; grief that our nation is so deeply divided; anxiety about unknown outcomes; maybe even the audacity of hope.
While we wait for every vote to be counted, while we hold on just a little while longer, let’s remember how fiercely we showed up these months with love; I’m SO grateful to you!! Though we don’t know who our next president will be, we know how to pray and love our way to justice.
Please bring all the feels tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET on Zoom, and pray for a loving and just democracy. You don’t need to bring anything other than your self, which is enough.
Come Sunday we’ll gather in love once again at 11:45 a.m. as I preach a sermon on Amos 5, and share in the love that will make us well. In the meantime…
Hold on. March on. Fight on. Pray on. Every little thing’s gonna be alright.
In the fiercest love,
Jacqui
